Croix Blanche reverts to Drive & Survive for 2009

The well known carp fishery Croix Blanche will be reverting to drive & survive for the 2009 season.  After a number of years where fully inclusive organised trips were the only way to fish Croix, it’s now open to anyone who fancies the short 2½ hour drive from Calais.  On site bailiff, Les Best, will be providing a full food for those who want it – so you’ll certainly not be roughing it!

Croix Blanche Carp FishingFor those who don’t know the venue, it consists of two lakes; the 6 acre Croix Blanche and 8 acre Tortue.  Both lakes have a large head of specimen carp to over 60lb and the Tortue has one which will very probably top 70lb this year.   Each lake has around 150 carp including many 30’s & 40’s as well as large catfish to 85lb plus.  A new batch of 20lb plus carp will be stocked before next season and these will certainly give a boost to the lakes in terms of numbers of runs that can be expected.
